This painting is inspired by the wild, romantic and windswept Haworth Moors.

Letitia always begins the painting process intuitively, but subconsciously knowing that this particular painting was for such a special occasion, that colours that she associates with this beautiful part of the country quickly emerged.

She wanted the figure to be part of the landscape, to personify the elements; her hair depicts the wind's movements and she is clothed in fiery bracken leaves.

Letitia has painted this for our 18th Birthday celebrations 2024 and we absolutely adore it - hope you do too!

Letitia is a full-time fine artist living in a small village in North Lincolnshire and is well known as Mrs Bertimus. We also sell her prints in the gallery if you are ever passing through Hebden Bridge for a mooch!
