Ruth's work is inspired by the natural world, wild landscapes and that wonderful sense of adventure that makes you want to pack a bag and head for the hills. With her clear, sophisticated design style and eye for striking colour, Ruth’s pieces have a joyful simplicity that never fails to make people smile.

Ruth has written and illustrated several picture books, and designed a growing series of titles with Raw Mixture, including Soul Manifestos & Pieces of Joy, Soul Meditations, Blue Marble and Lifesongs, all available here at Heart Gallery.

When she’s not busy creating, Ruth can usually be found tending to her ever-growing jungle of houseplants (which may or may not be taking over her flat!). She’s a firm believer that talking to them helps them thrive - and we’re not arguing! And when she’s in need of some fresh air, she’s most likely to be dancing barefoot on a beach or braving a sea swim at her happy place, Newgale in Pembrokeshire.
