The Future of Heart Gallery

the future

Hello friends

Apologies for our absence and for not keeping in touch since we closed our Heart Gallery doors mid March, along with everyone else I am finding these challenging times really difficult. It’s been extremely hard to focus on anything other than health, wellbeing, family and finances. I’ve had so many days when I’ve really felt discouraged but I’ve picked myself up and kept going, stumbling forward hoping to make sense of it all. Thank heavens for the glorious weather we were treated to duing April and May which really helped with my wellbeing as I was able to enjoy nature at its very best…haven’t the birds been singing joyfully?

keep your distance - the future

With so much conflicting advice for non essential shops it’s been really challenging to say the least but I feel that Heart Gallery is still a very safe place to visit and shop. I have implemented a lovely one way system using both of our doors so we have an entrance and exit. We’ve had some lovely signage designed to remind people about staying safe. (Watch this space as this might change due to the ever-changing ‘advice’ from central government because they don’t realise how much money is spent on promotional material that small businesses can’t afford to keep changing!) There are hand sanitisers at both doors for you to use on your way in and on your way out and I also have one at the counter for us to use when accepting your cash or card payments. However, as beautiful as the gallery looks now with its new displays it will need visitors to survive these challenging times.

no handling - the futureFrom Friday 19th June you can book in with us for a private one to one appointment so that you can look round Heart Gallery at your leisure. This can be just you or can be with other members of your household too. This will be a lovely experience for you and for me and you can purchase during your visit as well … how wonderful is that, personal shopping with great customer service and gift wrapping in such a warm and inviting space…I can’t wait. Booking button at the end of this newsletter and more info here.

Liz Cooksey and Jessica GeachWe have created a survey that will take you less than 5 minutes to complete. Please help us to help you, thank you:

daisy and coI look forward to seeing your responses to our survey and also seeing you on a one to one soon. I will send out another newsletter soon once I decide on an opening date for Heart Gallery so please look out for that in your inbox, thank you. We will begin to open with new days and hours so that we can gauge how busy it might be going forward. But for now, please don’t forget us and all the other small independents trying so hard to stay afloat and make a difference to our towns and high streets, thank you x
