Katy Mai Webster is an artist and printmaker based in the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula, North Wales.
Since graduating, she has developed a range of ceramic jewellery, cards and accessories based on her original screen prints and illustrations.
Her ceramic jewellery and landscapes are inspired by the coastal area around her home, especially the tiny details of nature such as fossils, wild flowers, pebbles and lichen.
Each piece is individually handmade with porcelain and stoneware clays, fired and glazed before being fired again and finally made into jewellery using sterling silver findings or small landscape homeware.
This process means that each piece Katy makes is unique and her jewellery has a contemporary feel whilst using traditional ceramic techniques.
Katy’s love of animals and Mid Century design is also evident in her work
We have fallen in love with Katy’s pieces for our FLOW exhibition which runs until the end of July and hope you love it as much as we do.
