So a few words about my Flow project last week:
The sun was warm this afternoon and that really helped me to deal with not being at work in Heart Gallery; lack of routine is something that I am sure we are all struggling with right now.
The house realistically is a mess, but my creative space encouraged me to spread across my living room table and I popped down a rabbit hole of paper cutting with my Flow Book for Paper Lovers.
Both Flow Magazine and Flow Book for Paper Lovers that we sell at Heart Gallery are all about positive psychology, mindfulness, creativity and the beauty of imperfection.
They champion unhurried time; they’re all about doing things differently and making new choices. Small happiness, daily life and the beauty of not always managing to be perfect.
The smell and textures of the pages, the inspiration that colourfully jumps out at you across each and every page is a joy
I took my time and cut and assembled my beach scenes, lovers holding hands, picnic basket and rug.
Daisy watched me to make sure I enjoyed myself! And I did! I can’t wait to do another one.
